And (Sequential)

Use -고 and 그리고 to connect actions or ideas: -고 (connecting verbs) - "and then" / "and" • Attaches to verb stem • Shows sequence or simultaneous actions • 밥을 먹고 커피를 마셔요 = I eat and drink coffee 그리고 (sentence connector) - "and" / "and then" • Starts a new sentence • More separate than -고 • 밥을 먹어요. 그리고 커피를 마셔요. Note: -고 keeps the same tense as the final verb • 밥을 먹고 갔어요 = I ate and went (both past) Multiple actions: A-고 B-고 C해요 • 세수하고 밥 먹고 학교에 가요 = I wash up, eat, and go to school
